Credit score
Know a slow payer before you bill them again
Every party gets a grade from A to E, worked out from how they actually pay you: days late, part payments and promises kept. The invoice screen warns you before you bill a C or D party over their limit.
- Limits that fit: credit limit and credit days per party, with a warning, not a hard stop.
- Promises tracked: log a promise-to-pay date on the party; a morning WhatsApp digest for the owner is coming soon.
- Their language: reminders in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi or Tamil, per party.

Payment reminder guide
A payment reminder routine that keeps the relationship
Most overdue bills are not refusals. The party forgot, is waiting for their own buyer, or has a question about the bill. A reminder that arrives at the right time, in their language, with the exact amount and a way to pay, settles most of them without a phone call. The ones that don't are the calls worth making.
A cadence that works for most distributors

You set the steps once in Collections → Reminders. Any party can be paused with one switch (a festival, a dispute, a party you want to call yourself), and each party's language decides the language of their reminders.
What happens when the party pays
- Through the payment link: the payment is matched to the bill when the gateway confirms it, and the bill is marked paid.
- Party says it's already paid: from the payment page they can tell you so; you see it in Collections and match it to a receipt or dismiss it.
- Cash, cheque or bank transfer: record a receipt with F6. Money goes to the oldest bill first unless you split it, and TDS deducted by the buyer or a settlement discount is recorded against the bill.
- A cheque bounces: mark the receipt bounced and the bills open up again with their balances restored.
Credit limits that warn, not block
Give each party a credit limit and credit days. The A to E grade is recalculated from how the party actually pays you: days late, part payments and promises kept. It is a grade inside your own firm, not a credit bureau score, and it is never shared.

Do reminders go from my own WhatsApp number?
Reminders are sent through the official WhatsApp Business API with approved templates, under your firm's name. You don't need to keep a phone logged in.
Can a party stop the reminders?
Yes. Every promotional message carries an opt-out link, and you can pause reminders for any party. Payment reminders for real dues follow the template rules set by WhatsApp.
How is the credit score worked out?
From the party's own payment history with you: how many days late they pay, part payments and promises kept. It is not a credit bureau score and is never shared outside your firm.
